IIBA Continuing Development
Systemation is an Endorsed Education Provider (EEP), participating in the International Institute of Business Analysis’ Continuing Development Unit Program.
The Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) is a designation awarded to candidates who have successfully demonstrated their expertise in the field of business analysis. CBAP® applicants need 21 CDUs of professional development (i.e. course classroom/contact time) in the last four years to meet the professional development requirement. The 21 CDUs must be obtained by the application date.
CDUs may be earned by attending designated Systemation workshops, listed below. To receive credit for completing a Systemation workshop please visit the IIBA Online CBAP® application.

What is a CDU?
The CDU is the measuring unit used to quantify approved learning and professional service activities. Typically, one CDU is earned for every one hour spent in a planned, structured learning experience or activity.
How Are Continuing Development Program Activities Reported?
CBAP® applicants and recipients can report their CDUs for professional development using
the program ID number of each IIBA endorsed course they have taken on the IIBA Online CBAP® application. They are also required to maintain the following documents in case of an IIBA audit: a registration form, certificate or letter of attendance.
