Want to propel your team’s Project Management skills or take our Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam Preparation course? We are here to help make you aware of your knowledge gaps with our project management assessment.
Systemation offers individual and organizational assessments prior to the start of any training program to establish a baseline and identify both strengths and needs-attention areas of potential growth. Additionally, Systemation provides post-training assessments to measure improvement, benchmark a group against peers, or design a customized follow-up training program.
Our assessments are finely tuned to provide accurate and insightful diagnostics, at the level of detail you need to achieve project and business success.
Project Management Knowledge Assessment
Utilizing Project Management Institute’s (PMI®’s) A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) as a reference, we crafted 132 multiple-choice questions targeting 44 competencies to evaluate a person’s project management know-how.
You receive a detailed report, measuring your mastery of PMI®’s five process groups, ten knowledge areas, and general management. In addition, we can compare your results with a group of peers, either at your company or within the broader project management community.
Project Management Skill Assessment
Using a 360-degree evaluation format that gathers perspectives from the project manager, supervisor, team members, and clients, this project management assessment evaluates your ability to perform the skills essential for effective project management as well as acting as a foundation for PMP® exam preparation.
If a project manager is not practicing a particular skill effectively, this assessment also determines the root cause—which could range from insufficient training to an organizational barrier.
Once we collect the 360-degree input, we generate a report that compares your self-assessment with others’ views of your skill level. We provide you with a skill-level profile organized by PMI®’s five process groups, and we compare this profile with a group of peers, either at your company or within the broader project management community.
Organizational Project Management Capability Assessment
With this project management assessment, we begin by evaluating your organization’s project managers.
Next, we conduct in-depth interviews with a variety of stakeholders, including at least one member of executive management, a few mid-level managers, and several individual project managers. We even speak with your clients.
We carefully review multiple samples of project documentation, including charters, plans, status reports, change control, risks, issues, processes, standards and guidelines. And we evaluate the tools project managers use for scheduling, timekeeping, and other project management activities.
We combine all this information to create a comprehensive picture of your organization’s project management environment, strengths, and weaknesses. With this project management assessment, we highlight knowledge gaps, organizational barriers to project success, and more in an easily digestible but comprehensive briefing format that can also help with your PMP® exam preparation.
